This is our new pyro-actuated gate valve for our next liquid rocket, Aurora. We tested it with nitrous oxide to verify leak tightness and material compatibility. One valve is used in each propellant line to initiate the flow of propellant to the engine just before liftoff.

Thanks to the Materialprüfungsanstalt Universität Stuttgart for letting us test in their facilities.

We recently introduced new team members to our winding machine. This machine was developed in-house and upgraded over the years. It is capable of wet winding with dynamic fibre tension and at nearly any fiber angle. Thank you to Taniq for helping us create the G-Code for our most complex parts.

Have a look at our N2ORTH-3 Rollout Party we held yesterday, August 05th 2026! The rocket and its avionics, contributed by our awesome friends at , are ready for launch. To our guests, thank you for being there and celebrating this milestone on our way to being the first European student team to break the Kármán line with us!

Our avionics department is hard at work equipping our general-purpose SODIMM PCBs by hand. These modules can communicate with each other via our dual duplex CAN network.

In preparation for the test campaign of our 2kN regeneratively cooled engine, we tested various ignition methods to minimise downtime between tests. This was carried out using a 'battleship' engine with a silicon carbide (SiC) liner and a test duration of 2 seconds.

Structures is ready to merge our CAD.

After proving they could withstand 320 bar (three times their operating pressure) without leaking, we pushed our self build type 5 pressure vessels to their absolute limit. Together with the MPA Stuttgart, we pressurized the tanks until they burst. The first tank failed at 520 bar, while the second reached 480 bar. Both failed around the dome instead of the cylindrical section. Every test like this helps us improve our fiber winding patterns and brings us one step closer to building reliable, larger Type 5 tanks for our bi-liquid rockets of Project BLAST.

Thank you, .space , for allowing us to visit your offices. We were able to see how satellite propulsion systems are developed on an industrial scale. It was fascinating to see the test benches used to qualify new green propellants and thrusters. It was also amazing to witness the rapid growth of such a young startup and the enthusiasm of your team.
