Back to school is just one week away! 📚🎒

We are incredibly grateful to everyone at The Yoga Effect for their “Pack Their Potential” initiative, along with the Kiwanis Club of Windsor and Valiant TMS, for making sure the children at Matthew House have what they need to head back to school ready to learn!

Thanks to these caring community partners, our kids can start the school year feeling prepared, confident, and excited about what’s ahead.

A new school year brings new opportunities, new friendships, and new dreams. Thank you for helping our children begin this chapter knowing their community believes in them and wants to see them succeed.

When a community invests in its children, it invests in the future. 🍎✏️❤️

Thank you, thank you, thank you to the Social Justice Club of Vincent Massey Secondary.

We're so grateful to this group of caring students who baked and sold lots of delicious goodies to raise funds for Matthew House. 🍪🧁 Their generosity came from believing in the work we do — and understanding that they are part of that work too.

These students are helping make a real difference in the lives of the men, women, and children seeking safety and a new beginning in our community. Their compassion, commitment, and willingness to take action are inspiring.

To these emerging next-generation leaders: thank you for showing us what happens when young people see a need and choose to respond with kindness. We appreciate your care, compassion, and good works more than you know!

We are so grateful to Red Swan Pizza🍕 for including Matthew House in their Pizza with Purpose Give Back! Your generosity brought smiles, full tummies, and a special treat to our families.

Many of our Matthew House kids enjoyed a delicious slice while watching a special afternoon movie — a simple moment of fun and normalcy that meant so much. 🎬🍕😊

We are so grateful for the wonderful donation of new children’s books for the little library at Matthew House! 📖

We know our kids are going to love discovering new stories, exploring new worlds, and finding a cozy place to read. For children who have experienced so much change, a good book can offer comfort, imagination, and a little escape.
