Youth Opportunities Strategy
The Youth Opportunities Strategy is a provincial initiative funded by the Ontario Ministry of Children and Youth Services. Our mission is to provide opportunities for youth, and help them realize their full potential to become active, productive members of our community. Youth Outreach Program
Our Youth Outreach Workers assist youth ages 12-21 overcome barriers by connecting them with the resources already established in their communities. Issues like employment, completing volunteer hours, applying for assistance, housing, food and clothing are just a few examples. Onsite services available
- Emergency food cupboard
- Hygiene products
- Laundry services
- Business attire for interviews
- seasonal clothing
- Resume assistance
- Computers for jobs/apartment searching
*All services are FREE to youth ages 12-21

A wonderful evening filled with delicious food, warm smiles, laughter, and community spirit! 🦃✨ We’re so grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make our Thanksgiving Community Dinner such a memorable occasion.

A special THANK YOU to all our amazing staff who worked hard behind the scenes to prepare, organize, and bring everything together. Your time, teamwork, and dedication helped make the evening a huge success, and we couldn’t have done it without you! 🙌❤️

We had such a wonderful time being part of the Diversity BBQ last weekend! 🎉🌍

It was a beautiful celebration of the diversity that makes our community so vibrant and inclusive. From meaningful connections to incredible cultural performances, the day was filled with joy, colour, and a true spirit of togetherness.

We’re grateful to have been part of such a fantastic event again this year and to celebrate the many cultures, traditions, and stories that bring us together. 🧡💛

A few members of our leadership team and board of directors were honoured to attend the Windsor Police Service 2026 Chief’s Gala, an evening dedicated to recognizing excellence and celebrating community champions who are making a difference across Windsor-Essex.

We’re proud to support an event that brings the community together while raising funds for organizations making a meaningful impact in the lives of local youth, individuals, and families. 🤩💛

We are excited to invite youth and young adults up to age 29, along with their families, to come together for an evening of good food, connection, and community.
