WFN Youth Centre Ages 12-18yrs

WFN Youth Centre Ages 12-18yrs Drop in hours Monday-Friday, 4-9 p.m. Pizza is served on Fridays.

Youth ages 12+ have access to computers, games, a pool table, the sensisyusten gymnasium, and various other activities and events. Gym time starts at 4:30 Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri where youth have access to activities such as floor hockey, basketball, rock climbing, dodge ball etc. Various programs are run out of the Youth Center throughout the year as well as a number of out-trips and special events such as swimming at H2O, Movie nights, bowling, paintball, ice skating and more!

What a fascinating day at the Summerland Research Centre with WFN Council members Coble & Tronson, IGA rep Addison, Youth Council Ally, Curtis, Lozen & Hunter, Ntityix researchers Cameille & Bree, the PhD profs and many more re: WFN/SRC 8yr research partnership of the protection of the black Huckleberry on sylix traditional territory and the impacts of invasive species sharing how Indigenous & sylix traditional practices is benefiting western science. Exposing our youth to experiences like this is what makes us so proud here at WFN! 🫐🔬🦅🪶💫❤️
