🖤💜 KANDU will be supporting local Overdose/International Overdose Awareness Day (OIAD) events in both West Kelowna and Kelowna.

We invite our community to come out, stand together, remember the lives we have lost, support those who continue to be impacted, and help bring awareness to the toxic drug crisis we are experiencing and fighting against every day.

Every life matters. Every voice matters. Together, we can continue creating awareness, reducing stigma, and supporting our communities. 💜

Come join us and show your support.

Every life matters ❤️‍🩹💝

As an Indigenous organization, we continue to witness the devastating impacts of the toxic drug crisis on our families, communities, and Nations. International Overdose Awareness Day is a time to remember those we have lost, stand with those who continue to struggle, and support everyone who has been affected.

We must continue to bring awareness to this crisis, reduce stigma, and create spaces where people feel seen, heard, and supported.

KANDU will continue to show up with compassion, culture, and community. Together, we honour, remember, and work toward hope and healing.

Another incredible resource our organization is proud to be connected with is West Coast LEAF, whose work supports communities across British Columbia.

Thank you, West Coast LEAF, for partnering with us to help bring communities together through the Supporting Safety Together for Survivors and Their Children: Navigating Child Welfare initiative. This work helps strengthen understanding and collaboration to better support Indigenous families and survivors.
