We wanted to share a few pictures from our recent on the lands outings we had in September & October.

A huge thank you to those who came out and joined us, and a special thank you to Nick and Andy for sharing their knowledge, time, and cultural teachings.

So far, we’ve been fishing, and just this past weekend, we were fortunate to harvest a moose! We are grateful for these opportunities to connect with the land, pass down traditional knowledge, and share our harvest with the community. 🫎 🎣

Our next outing is October 23rd!

We are always looking for helpers to skin, cut, and package meat. If you’re interested in volunteering and taking home some meat for your family, please reach out 💛

💜 International Overdose Awareness Day 💜

A huge thank you to those who came out and walked with us today in West Kelowna for International Overdose Awareness Day.

Bringing awareness to the toxic drug crisis is so important. Behind every statistic is a person that was loved and that mattered. Today was about honouring those we have lost, supporting those who are still here, breaking down stigma, and continuing to advocate for change.

A special thank you to First Nations Health Authority for funding our project and helping make this awareness walk possible. We are grateful for the continued support.

We are excited to announce that KANDU will be starting bingo with the option to play virtually! 100% of the proceeds from our first bingo will go directly to individuals affected by the wildfires in the Okanagan region. We hope to see you there and we would greatly appreciate your support for this important initiative :)
