On June 25, WPSO-Canada members from across Ontario gathered in the Waterloo Region at the Kindred Centre for Peace Advancement (CPA) for a workshop on Women Peacebuilders in Canada: Pathways for Advocacy, Influence, and Change.

As part of the campaign with ICAN - Women, Peace & Security, members shared their advocacy work, reflected on the role of women peacebuilders in Canada, and explored how women can influence policy, strengthen communities, and advance peace through collective action.

Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to these meaningful conversations. Together, we continue to build stronger networks of women leaders and peacebuilders across Ontario.

Know Your Rights: Workplace Discrimination in Ontario
Everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and treated fairly at work.
In Ontario, employers cannot discriminate based on race, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, pregnancy, or family status — in hiring, pay, treatment, or termination.
If something feels wrong: Document incidents, save messages, note dates and witnesses, and reach out for support early. You don't have to navigate it alone.
