BIKE LOAD

Today was a first in loading bikes on a flat deck and have the sides retract and then expand and encase the pallets. Amazing and totally shocking to some of us. To those who have seen this before....they still enjoyed the process. Even they had their cameras out!
The 225 bikes are now on the way to Manitoba where they will be shared and sent to their projects.
Thank you to all who loaded all those bikes!

It is a great privilege to be allowed to go to the TC non-profit day, and load up with books that will be shared around the world!

CRW will be CLOSED MAY 4TH
CRW will be CLOSED MAY 4TH to allow our team to be at the Times Colonist Non-Profit day. We will be gathering books to send on future loads
There will not be anyone present to accept your donations
CRW will be back open for donations Wednesday May 6 & Friday May 8th from 9 am - 4.pm

ETHIOPIA Load
This load definitely taxed all of us- so many things to juggle and find a space for everything.
So many treasures as well as equipment for the new clinic, skill development sewing and carpentry, team house and school.
Thank you to all of our team for packing some very specific boxes in very specific sizes!
They will be very pleased with this VERY LARGE GIFT BOX.

In December 2025, CRW sent 3 containers to the Ukraine. Finally the last one was delivered this week.
They will now unload, organize and start distribution.
They do have a huge job in front of them. We definitely fill every corner on our containers
But extremely good news!

It is with great sadness that we share that our long time team member -DOROTHY GODWIN, has passed away
Dorothy was in charge of the Educational team and helped develop and set the standards for all of our teacher resources, classroom supplies, office supplies and started developing the art and craft section. In fact - she was the first one to accept beads for art!
Dorothy spearheaded the Time Colonist book sale non-profit day and organized her "collection team" very efficiently. She inspired many collogues to come and assist her in the educational area
Dorothy was always full of fun- and always ready for a good laugh
Dorothy also assisted Dell with lists, and information manuals.
Dorothy and Ken both served CRW and all of our consignees very compassionately and very effectively.
She is missed dearly.

CRW sent 3 containers to Ukraine in December 2026
2 of them were finally cleared and unloaded.
The first was a shipment of Gleaners food from NOV Gleaners.
Perfect timing as you can see that the storage facility was empty. They re very grateful for food at this time.
The second was from CRW- the back looks as great as when we sent it.. As they said, they are busy sorting into categories!
These are the first containers sent directly to Odessa and not vai Poland. They took awhile longer, but they have finally made it "home"
So grateful.

KENYA LOAD WAS FINISHED THIS AFTERNOON
We had some excellent help.
Margaret and her Father came to assist loading. Margaret collected quite a number of school supplies for this load and was able to put her boxes directly on the load.
Many willing hands on this beautiful sunny, but cool day.
Thank you to everyone who gathered., made or donated some lovely items , and/or packed very specific boxes, bags, containers and pallets.
Another excellent, very full load is now on its way to its final destination.
