From October 23-25, 2026, 2136 conducted its first annual Field Training Exercise (FTX) at Albert Head.

Throughout the weekend, cadets developed valuable fieldcraft skills, including equipment maintenance, fire-building, knot tying, and shelter construction, while operating in challenging weather conditions.

Despite the rain, cadets demonstrated resilience, teamwork, and adaptability as they participated in hands-on training led by senior cadets. The exercise provided an excellent opportunity for cadets to build confidence, strengthen their skills, and gain practical experience in a field environment.
