Our Story

Project Respect is the prevention and education branch of the Victoria Sexual Assault Centre. We bring youth and adults in our community together to build awareness and dialogue around the issue of sexualized violence by encouraging critical thinking about its root causes - gender expectations and stereotypes; imbalances and abuses of power; and the ongoing colonization of these lands. Project Respect hopes to help end sexualized violence and all other intersecting forms of violence, because we believe that everyone has the right to explore sexuality in safe and consensual ways.
