Truck Parade 🇨🇦

11/15/2025

This year is my 12th Christmas away from the Philippines. I still miss the noise, the fireworks, the warmth, the food, and the joy of being surrounded by family. But Canada became my home...the place where I learned to rebuild myself.

In my mid-20s, I felt like I was failing in life. I didn’t pass my board exam, I was earning 9k a month, paying rent, no savings, no achievements. I struggled every day. That’s why I left the Philippines… to give myself a chance to start over.

It’s never been easy. But I’m proud of where I am today. Still learning, still growing, still fighting.

To everyone spending Christmas far from home, padayon lang. Keep fighting. We’re all writing our journey...one brave chapter at a time.
