Thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday for our Annual General Meeting and panel discussion. It was a meaningful evening of reflection, connection, and shared learning.

Our sincere thanks to our Board members for their leadership, dedication, and ongoing commitment to our mission. Their guidance continues to strengthen our work in the community.

A heartfelt thank you to our panelists: Melissa Giles, Dr. Karen Urbanoski, Anne Hodge, Arpita Panday, and Hollis Thorau. Thank you for generously sharing your knowledge, experience, and insight from across housing, research, and front-line support.

The discussion explored how housing, financial stability, employment, emotional well-being, and other supports are interconnected for people experiencing gender-based violence. A recurring theme was that every intervention is part of a broader picture, and that integral support depends on systems working together.

We reflected on key questions: How can services be better coordinated and more accessible? How can we reduce the barriers people face when seeking help? These questions did not have simple answers, but conversations like this one bring us closer to solutions. We look forward to continuing this dialogue with our partners and community.

Thank you also to all participants for attending, sharing your perspectives, and contributing to this important conversation.

Stay tuned for a video summary of the evening!
