COBD also provides positive education about blindness and DeafBlindness and the abilities of blind, DeafBlind, and low vision people to employers, educators and the general public. COBD is the official home of Camp Bowen, the Pacific Training Centre, and the Bowen Island Accessibility Group.The Pacific Training Centre for the Blind offers independence, employment and blindness skills training to blind people, and provides positive education about blindness and the abilities of blind people to employers, educators and the general public.
