THE BIKERS ARE COMING!🏍🎅🧑‍🎄🤶

The annual kickoff to our Santas Anonymous fundraising starts this Sunday, September 20, when bikers from Vanderhoof and nearby communities come together for a tradition built on compassion, generosity, and community spirit.

The toys and funds raised through this ride go directly to the Santas Anonymous food hamper program, helping local families this holiday season.

Sometimes Santa doesn’t just wear red.
He wears leather and a helmet!

Bikes meet at Four Rivers Co-operative parking lot at noon.
Ride starts at 1 PM.

Come out, support the riders, and help us kick off another Santas Anonymous season!

Last Wednesday, we stopped by the NeighbourLink Vanderhoof fundraiser BBQ to present a donation in support of Feed the Need.

This time of year can be tough for food banks. Donations tend to slow down while the need remains, which means NeighborLink often has to purchase food to keep their shelves stocked.

We're grateful to everyone who helped make this donation possible by supporting our winter meat draws at My Place Pub. Thank you to the patrons who bought tickets, Four Rivers Co-operative for your sponsorship, Dave Miles for his ongoing support, and Dan Middleton, the Meat Master for chairing the project.

We appreciate the opportunity to support food security in Vanderhoof and the important work NeighborLink does for our community.

🥩🔥 MEAT DRAW SHOWDOWN – THIS SATURDAY! 🔥🥩
Last weekend, some folks rolled in from Burns Lake and made quite the impression… one lucky couple even walked away with two draws! 😲
Now word is they’re planning to bring reinforcements this weekend and try to sweep the draws.
But hold on a minute…
We did see some strong competition from Vanderhoof giving them a run for their money. The question is: are Vanderhoof locals going to let Burns Lake take the crown?
