"Weekends" is an Academy Award nominated animated short about a young boy shuffling between the homes of his recently divorced parents. Surreal, dream-like moments mix with the domestic realities of a broken up family in this hand-animated film set in 1980's Toronto.

Trevor Jimenez is a director at Pixar Animation Studios, where he is currently directing an upcoming feature film slated for
2028. He also directed Mixed Signals,* episode six of Pixar’s Win or Lose.

Drawing from his experience as a director and story artist, Trevor will examine how personal memories, observation, and instinct can be transformed into stories that feel authentic and emotionally resonant.

For one day only, the Roundhouse Exhibition Hall will transform into a lively marketplace of original artwork, prints, books, and artist-made merchandise — a space where local talent, distinctive voices, and curious audiences come together.
