At a moment’s notice, military families can be asked to leave behind their home, community, schools, careers, and support networks to move across Canada.

These challenges are part of military life and families carry that burden too.
This spring, True Patriot Love is raising $25,000 to support Military Family Resource Centres (MFRCs) across Canada. These centres provide critical local programs and services that help military families build connections, access support, and navigate constant change.

Your generosity helps ensure military families receive support close to home, wherever home may be.

We're inspired every day by the strength of our military members, Veterans, and their families. This is a community that gives so much and deserves every bit of support in return.

A heartfelt thank you to EY for hosting a meaningful virtual Lunch & Learn in support of the upcoming Mount Waddington Expedition.

During Mental Health Week, participants came together for an important discussion on resilience, leadership, and mental health and how challenge, trust, and teamwork help strengthen the way we support one another both on and off the mountain.

We’re grateful to our speakers Jeremy Blair, Chris Power, Lance Mortlock, and moderator Olaf Paulus for sharing their experiences and insights so openly and honestly.

The Mount Waddington Expedition is more than a climb it’s a shared journey that highlights the strength of connection, adaptability, and collective resilience within Canada’s military community and beyond.

Thank you, EY, for helping elevate these important conversations and for your continued support of our mission.

Twenty years ago, Canada lost Captain Nichola Goddard. But her spirit, her courage, her love of country, her belief in service, lives on.

This year, nearly 600 people came together in Calgary, Halifax, Toronto, and Ottawa for the True Patriot Love Captain Nichola Goddard Women in Leadership Series, presented by Lysander Funds Inc. They shared honest conversations about leadership, resilience, family, and what it truly means to serve.

“It's been 20 years since my sister's death and I'm proud of this legacy. We can see how my sister's love for her country is being carried forward” – Kate Goddard

Graduation season is here, a moment that marks hard work, transition, and the start of what’s next.

At True Patriot Love, we know those moments of change aren’t limited to the classroom. Veterans and service members experience their own transitions as they step into new chapters beyond military service — showing up, once again, ready for what’s ahead.

That’s why we’re proud to partner with Moores. Whether it’s for graduation, a new career, or a milestone moment, finding the right suit can help you step forward with confidence.

When you shop in-store at Moores, you can tap at checkout to support Canada’s military community helping Veterans like Sergeant (Ret’d) Ryan Hawkyard as they navigate life after service.

Look sharp. Give back. Honour the journey — wherever it leads.

Right now, somewhere in your community, a Veteran is volunteering their time. You probably don't even know they served.

Many Veterans transitioning out of service often want to keep contributing, they're looking for purpose, connection, and a way to stay part of something bigger than themselves.
At the same time, community organizations across Canada are working hard just to find and keep volunteers.

The National Veteran Volunteerism Action Plan brings these two needs together — and the results are powerful https://www.veteranhub.ca/action-plan/

Built on first-of-its-kind national research in Canada, it shows that when Veterans are connected with community organizations in a meaningful way, the impact lasts. For the Veteran. For the organization. For the community.

We'll be sharing more stories, research, and real examples over the coming weeks.
Do you know a Veteran who volunteers? Or a community organization that could benefit from this kind of connection? Tag them below or share this post. 👇

This work is part of a broader national effort to strengthen how Veterans engage in volunteerism across Canada.
