Karlee takes Walmart by storm! 💙

Champion Karlee recently stopped by her local in support of . Karlee was just 23 days old when she was admitted to the hospital and later diagnosed with two heart defects. Thanks to donor support, Karlee received the specialized care she needed at Janeway Children’s Hospital including life-saving open-heart surgery. 🩺

Champion Emmy stopped by Walmart Canada #3087 in St. Albert and #1122 in Edmonton, Alberta to show support for her local children’s hospital foundation and was surprised with a birthday celebration 🎉💙

Emmy was born with spinal dysgenesis, a rare condition that affects the development of the spine and spinal cord, and her family was once told she might never walk. Thanks to donor support, she is not only walking today but also twirling, performing, and shining on stage.

It's so meaningful that Emmy was able to spend time celebrating her special day with her local Walmart team, the very people helping raise funds for children just like her and making progress possible.

This May, Walmart Canada is raising funds to support kids like Emmy across Canada who need access to life-changing care. When you visit your local Walmart and donate, your helping kids in your community receive the care they need.
