In recognition of World Water Day, and for those of you in San Miguel, we warmly invite you to join us for a special Open House at Caminos de Agua on Friday, March 27, titled “The Power of Water: Valuing Care.
This gathering is an opportunity to visit our offices, connect with our team, and learn more about the water challenges facing our region and the community-led solutions we are working to support.
This year, we are centering the conversation around care—the often invisible work that sustains communities and makes collective action possible. In this work, women have played—and continue to play—a central role in water management, community organizing, health, education, and the defense of territory. At the same time, we believe that care is a shared responsibility, and that building solutions for the common good means sharing roles, decisions, and actions.
Because safe water ultimately depends on the people who care for it and for one another.
During the Open House, you will have the chance to:
• Learn more about the water challenges facing San Miguel and the surrounding region
• Explore the community-led solutions Caminos de Agua supports
• Meet members of the Caminos de Agua team
• Reflect together on the role of shared care in building resilient communities
We will host two sessions to make participation easier:
10:00 AM – 1:00 PM (English session)
2:00 PM – 5:00 PM (Spanish session)
Please register in advance through the below button.
