Sometimes life changes in a single moment.
One minute you're working, providing for your family, making plans for tomorrow. The next, everything is turned upside down.
Today, we're asking the Fallen Riders community to come together for a mother who has spent the last 151 days fighting through surgeries, hospital stays, unimaginable pain, and a long road to recovery after a devastating accident. Through it all, her biggest concern hasn't been herself. It's been her children.
She has recently undergone major back surgery and will soon be transferred to Sunnybrook Rehabilitation Centre for several months. She is unable to work, her Indigenous food business has been forced to shut down during her recovery, and she is still waiting for insurance benefits while bills continue to pile up.
Property taxes are due. Groceries are needed. The everyday costs of raising children don't stop just because tragedy strikes.
The good news is that she recently stood with a walker for the first time since the accident. It's a huge step forward, but she still has a long journey ahead.
This is where the Fallen Riders family comes in.
We've always said that when someone falls, we help pick them back up. It doesn't matter if you ride a motorcycle or not. When a family is hurting, we do what we can.
Let's show Maryanne and her children what this community is made of. If you're able to donate, please do. If you can't donate, please share. Sometimes a share reaches the one person who can make a difference.
Every dollar helps.
Every share matters.
Every act of kindness counts.
Let's rally behind this family and remind them they're not fighting this battle alone.
