Ontario Arts Foundation (OAF) and the Toronto Alliance for the Performing Arts (TAPA) are delighted to announce that Clay and Paper Theatre is this year’s recipient of the $25,000 Ray Ferris Innovation and Sustainability Grant. This annual grant recognizes advances in theatrical design and the promotion of environmental sustainability in live theatre. The grant was presented today during the press conference announcing the nominees for the 46th Annual Dora Mavor Moore Awards presented by the Romano D’Andrea Foundation, held by TAPA at the Elgin and Winter Garden Theatres in Toronto.

The Ontario Arts Foundation is pleased to announce the inaugural recipients of the Tom Phillips Prize. Established by the late Thomas Vincent Phillips, these annual awards celebrate emerging Ontario visual artists, media artists and craft artists in recognition and support of their evolving artistic practices. Awards of $10,000 are presented in each of the following disciplines: Drawing, Painting, Installation, Sculpture, Printmaking, Media Arts and Ceramics.

Celebrated dancer, choreographer and educator Lata Pada is this year’s recipient of the Eldred Family Dance Award. This annual award recognizes exceptional achievement and creative ability in dance by an established Ontario choreographer and comes with a $60,000 cash award.

This year the Eldred Family Dance Award will also be presenting a Protégé Award in support and recognition of emerging choreographers in Ontario. This year, Lata Pada has selected Tanveer Alam to receive the $10,000 Protégé Award.

The Ontario Arts Foundation and The Gordon Foundation are pleased to announce the 2025 grant recipients from the Elizabeth L. Gordon Art Program.

The Elizabeth L. Gordon Art Program aims to foster a broader appreciation of Canadian visual art and artists by assisting public art galleries and museums in Ontario to grow their permanent collections, and support community engagement between a gallery or museum and its local community.
