BSCJ Youth Committee BSCJ Youth Committee group promotes youth empowerment, knowledge and sense of belonging. We are committed to our community and love of music. Who Are We?

BSCJ Youth Committee group was created to promote youth empowerment, knowledge and sense of belonging about our roots, our community and love of music. We also organize and promote different activities. Our Music Academy has been a big part of what we do for BSCJ, we have become more focused on bringing awareness to the art of music education, thus helping build self-esteem to the youth. As member

s of the marching band we have become more involved with the heritage of the Portuguese music, sports, religion and food. We strive to push ourselves to expand and support other cultures, within our community as well as those who volunteer for the BSCJ band. Without the expertise, guidance and self-awareness from our talented musicians we would not have been as successful in contributing to our community and the BSCJ Family.
