The Friends of Sorauren Park (formerly Wabash Building Society) is an all-volunteer, community-based non-profit organization. We are focused on completing Sorauren Avenue Park by expanding into the industrial land along Wabash Avenue that the City of Toronto purchased for the park in 2000. The FOSP also promotes the park generally, offers programming such as the Outdoor Movie Series and natural ic
e rink, and maintains the websites SoraurenPark.com and BuildWabashNow.org. FOSP meetings are open to the public and you are invited to attend and get involved. We are always looking for new members! We usually meet the first Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Sorauren Fieldhouse.

We acknowledge that Sorauren Park is situated on the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat people, and is now home to many First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples from across Turtle Island. We also acknowledge that Toronto is covered by Treaty 13 with the Mississaugas of the Credit. We recognize, honour and respect these nations as the traditional stewards of this land.
