Had the honour of meeting again with Mr. Carmine Nigro, Chair of the Board of the LCBO, one of the world’s largest buyers and retailers of beverage alcohol. We briefly met for the first time in February at the swearing-in ceremony of the Peel Regional Police where 88 recruits officially became constables. It was a great pleasure to discuss with this accomplished business leader and philanthropist on a wide range of issues including Japanese sake, Ontario's wine, the Japanese concept of ikigai (a reason for being) and his endeavours of breaking the cycle of poverty and nurturing young people through education!
