🌲☀️ Yesterday, beyond 3:30 kiddos gathered under beautiful blue skies at Earl Bales Park to connect and thrive at the annual beyond 3:30 Wellness Walk!

Kids explored the forest, played a wildlife-themed game of “I Spy...”, built teamwork skills, and stayed active through games with friends, all topped off with a delicious dinner!

🙌 Huge shoutout to our incredible volunteers who led these activities and showed up for our kids. You made this day extra special!

Bridging the Nutrition Gap is bringing more food for more kids by stretching every dollar available. 🍎📚 🌟

A huge shoutout to the City of Toronto, led by Mayor Olivia Chow, for continuing to invest in nourishing food for Toronto kids. Together, we're helping kids learn and grow, and along the way, strengthening local farms and businesses, developing skills, and creating jobs every step of the way. It takes all hands on deck to make this happen. Healthy kids today. A stronger Toronto tomorrow! ✨

When we gather around the table, amazing things happen. ❤️

By bringing together our best ideas, resources, and partners, we’re helping nourish kids across our city. Through Bridging the Nutrition Gap, supplemental food is reaching 108,000+ students in more than 290 schools, and we’re on track to reach 400+ school communities next year!

It takes a village: governments like the City of Toronto, nonprofit partners like Second Harvest Deuxième Récolte, donors, farmers, local businesses, and volunteers all coming together with one goal: to stretch every dollar further so we can bring more food to more kids. The result? Healthier kids, vibrant communities, and a thriving Toronto! 🌟
