We need 8 hero’s to come forward and help a dog in need. If you can welcome a dog Tomorrow night and live within 3 ish hours of Toronto APPLY NOW on our website and then email us at [email protected] with the subject line being the name of the dog you can welcome. Kids in home must be 12+. You can have your own pets! All experience levels welcome. No yard required, apartments are just fine!

We also need urgent supplies. Most needed : 10 crate trays. Second most needed: large crates, extra large crates, and comfort/enrichment/training items

Thaddeus has just been returned…

Because he had a minor stroke 😭 and they had a new baby. Thaddeus is such a gentle good boy! He recently suffered a minor stroke which leaves him slightly dragging with one of his back legs. He is heartbroken. He isn’t high special needs, just needs a place that likes to go slow and cares about his well being. He has a hot spot on his leg that is healing.

Thaddeus needs a place to go by Monday night. He needs a home who can follow easy vet instructions to ensure proper healing. We need someone who works from home/someone ca be home most of the time for a few weeks to ensure he doesn’t lick at the wound. He’s a great dog and you will be returned with endless love. He is 6 years old and 65lbs. Very chill. He can live with dogs. Would consider a home with a cat.

Wheat Sheaf really is a 10/10 dog. He’s dog friendly, cat friendly, people social. He was adopted as a puppy and then returned to the shelter a year later due to their work schedule. He deserves a chance. He needs someone who can help him starting SATURDAY

Welcoming Brewster back ❤️‍🩹

Brewster was adopted earlier in the year but he has just come back. He’s looking for a home that’s the right fit for him so please read this post, share far and wide, and reach out to chat if you might the home for him! If you’re interested please submit an application and make it clear in the answers that you are interested in him!

Loves his people hard. Is very cuddly with his people and medium energy overall

His ideal situation:
❤️Experienced dog owner who can set up structure but also help build his confidence
❤️House with a yard
❤️Another dog who is calm, confident, and will be a gentle loving presence for him. Not required but would be great for him!
❤️Home more often than not. Maybe an older hybrid/wfh couple where your kids are older teens or adults or a retired couple looking for a companion!
❤️MAYBE ok with cats. He met one yesterday and was neutral. Sniffed sweetly and moved on. Has not lived with one full time though.
❤️Someone who can commit to fostering him until he finds a forever home (he needs consistency we don’t want him having to frequently move) or even better a foster to adopt!
❤️Comfortable giving oral meds
❤️Lives within 3 ish hours of Toronto for a foster or max 5 hours from Toronto if a foster to adopt but must be willing to travel a couple times
