Oh wow! Stepped onto the porch and it was like kitty Christmas! Thank you so much to the Toronto 120th Guides group! The kids and leaders in the group are so caring and curious about cats in need. They are already on their advocacy and rescue paths.

A few weeks ago, these sweeties visited Ella Minnow for the KRV Street Fest. Darling Sunday went home with a great family, looking forward to meeting two Cats Cradle alum sisters. Chewy was a champ! After 7 months on his own, what a story, he charmed so many people. He is still in foster care and so wants a forever home with another fun confident kitty. Ruby and Varley surprised us and were quite interested in all the new people which just shows how flexible and darling they are. They also need their permanent home. The love they have to give is a slow and steady warmth. What a treat to get to know them again. Please, please help us find a home for these three treasures. If you met them at the fest, this is your sign to reach out for them now!

Let’s talk about Varley for a moment. She and her sister Ruby have been waiting for many months for a home, though safe and comfy in foster care. Varley is a gorgeous big lady, her floof top tier. She adores attention and pets but goes from “lovin’ it” to “heck no” in what seems like a flash. BUT, because we’ve had time to get to know her, we know her preferences and cues. We’ve learned her boundaries and know how to care for her within her tolerance. She and Ruby NEED their soft place to land asap, and we need the kitten room for kitten season, so we can’t wait to help them transition to a forever home. They’d like to stay together. Please share.

We are looking forward to the Kingston Rd Fall Fest on Saturday. We have some kittens, large and small (the smallest of all being Mosey) eager for a forever home. They’ve waited long enough!
