🎶 Thankful Tuesday🎶

Today, the Strathmore Musical Arts Society would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Golden West Broadcasting and CKMR-FM (104.5 More Country) for their generous donation of $960.

As a volunteer-run, non-profit organization, support from community partners like @104.5morecountry helps us continue bringing quality LIVE music and entertainment to Strathmore. This contribution will go directly toward helping us welcome more talented performers to our stage and create memorable experiences for our community.

The Strathmore Musical Arts Society has received a financial boost from a local broadcaster aimed at supporting music education and the development of local talent.

Golden West Broadcasting and CKMR-FM in Strathmore announced a donation of $960 to the society as part of the company's ongoing commitment to supporting community organizations and fostering local musical talent.

In a letter accompanying the donation, the broadcaster said it is pleased to assist organizations that help develop and promote musicians within the community.

The contribution is intended to support the society's music programming and related initiatives throughout the coming year.

The broadcaster expressed its best wishes for the success of the society's music programs in the year ahead.

The Strathmore Musical Arts Society offers opportunities for local residents to participate in and benefit from music education and performance programs, helping nurture artistic development within the community.

🎶 Reintroducing the Strathmore Musical Arts Society 🎶

We’re a passionate group of volunteers dedicated to bringing incredible live music and unforgettable evenings to Strathmore and the surrounding area. From country and folk to rock, Celtic, and everything in between, our goal is simple: create opportunities for our community to come together and experience amazing live entertainment close to home.

Behind every concert is a team of local volunteers who help organize events, welcome guests, coordinate raffles, sell tickets, decorate tables, and keep the music playing year after year. We do it because we believe live music matters — and because we love seeing our community connect through it.

Over the years, we’ve welcomed talented performers from across Canada and created evenings filled with great music, delicious meals, laughter, dancing, and memories that last long after the final encore.
