Have a blessed weekend, and if you haven’t been to church before, or in a long time, find a Good Friday service, and a resurrection Sunday service to be part of. This is when we mark the time where God gave everything so that we may be saved. He gave His son as a perfect sacrifice for all!

Also if you don’t know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, today is the day of salvation! Ask God into your heart and into your life. Lay down your troubles at the foot of the cross, and trust Him to walk with you. If you are ready to put your trust in Him, and receive the free gift of salvation, say this prayer from your heart, and be sure to find a church body to grow in fellowship with.

God, i’m a sinner in need of a savior.
I believe you sent your only son, to live a perfect life and allowed Him to be sacrificed for my sin. I believe He died on the cross, was buried in a tomb, and was raised back up after 3 days, defeating sin and the grave. Jesus I ask you to come into my life as my personal Lord and Savior, help me to repent and guide me in truth. Lord I love you, and worship you with my life!

While helping at Mission 7 today I felt another pull at my heart for Strathmore. I know if God orders something, He will make a way and and give provision, so our request is for prayer over this. With the cost of everything rising, I feel God calling to help people in our community. I don’t even know what that looks like yet, so we’re asking God for clarity, guidance and provision if this is in fact what He’s calling us to do. We believe Mission 7 has a wonderful impact on their community by offering a little bit of a break on people’s grocery bill each week, and we believe it can be done here in our community as well.

We changed things up tonight because of the warmer weather and toured around Marlborough and forest lawn. Among many great conversations was one we had with a man named Vuthy. He’s a very loving and peaceful man, that is very interested in God and faith, but remains very confused on the topic, so tonight our prayers are for Vuthy to have a very real and unforgettable encounter with Jesus!

Tonight we ask for prayers for a few people we haven’t seen in a while, but built bonds with over the years out here. Also someone from strathmore that has ended up unhoused. Lord God we pray for healing, protection and provision for Tannis, Mitch, Crystal and Sherese. Father draw them near to You, and have your perfect will done in there lives! Thank you Jesus for your protection over us while we serve and for using us to bless the people of Calgary! In Your holy name Jesus we pray!

Tonight was an absolutely beautiful February evening to bring light into a dark place. We had some great conversations with some really nice people, and also dealt with a couple overdose situations. Our prayer tonight is over addiction and mental health. Lord God bring your perfect peace to the hearts and minds of these broken people. Heal them Lord, and reveal yourself to them in such a way that they never stray away again. Thank you Jesus for your mercy and grace!

6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

It was a beautiful day outside to bring some supplies to our friends at Mission 7. We learned while we were there our friend and brother John Bossuyt went to be with the Lord. He was a big part of Mission 7 in many ways from food source connections to joining in the streets. John’s main mission was bringing much needed aid like food, clothing and even financing drilling for water in places like Ethiopia, Sudan and all around Africa.

John is no doubt with the Lord right now, but please pray for everyone close to him. Pray for his work to continue overseas, but also pray for all the seeds he’s planted along the way
