Lost cat from Haylee Brassard

Hey all! I have my beautiful Milo Man here who got out Friday night when he wasn’t supposed to! I’m afraid he might’ve got lost or someone may have scooped him up.

If you have seen him please message me! We are located in Thorndale Pl, that would have been the area he was wondering.

Unfortunately, due to an emergency and not having enough volunteer coverage, we will need to close this afternoon on short notice. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate everyone’s understanding and patience.

We will reopen Thursday from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM.

We are currently working on recruiting additional volunteers to help cover situations like this in the future, as well as to hopefully extend our open hours moving forward.

Kittens and kittens and kittens!
Its that time of year where stray mommas and kittens are popping up everywhere. Times like these rescues need help with kitten items to help support these little guys and their mommas in one of the most vital times in their lives. Please consider donating items like kitten milk replacement, kitten canned food, fuzzy/soft blankets, towels, and monetary donations for medical bills and medicine for at risk kittens. Thank you for your ongoing support and love for the helpless cats and kittens in strathmore and area!

We dont like posting the stories that have broken a piece of our hearts, the countless hours spent hoping to save that little heartbeat, the tears cried, and the lives lost. Behind the scenes though the stress, the loss of hope, the utter disbelief in some peoples actions towards these little souls. There is so much that isn't spoken about, shared on social media. We are always out there fighting and caring for those who cant do it themselves! Here's a few photos of our losses, though there have been many more. We think of them every time we look into another kittens eyes. We hope there's plenty of love and mice over the rainbow 🌈 ❤️

Pets are living beings, not presents or promises to fulfill.

Before bringing an animal into a home, people need to honestly consider whether they or the person that may receive the pet can truly afford the food, vet care, grooming, training, supplies, and unexpected medical costs that come with responsible ownership. Good intentions are not enough when an animal’s wellbeing is involved.

Wanting a pet and being financially prepared for one are not always the same thing and that’s okay to admit.
