Last night marked the launch of the Lieutenant Governor's Arts Series—a new partnership between Government House and ArtsNL showcasing Newfoundland and Labrador's artistic talent.

The inaugural event celebrated the power of music and storytelling, featuring Nico Paulo, Adam Hogan, Ana Luísa Ramos, Mark Bragg, and Brian Way in an intimate evening of performance and conversation. The artists shared personal reflections on their work and the experiences that shape it.

We look forward to celebrating more of Newfoundland and Labrador’s artists through this new series. 🎵✨

The Women’s Work Festival (WWF) is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our Board of Directors!

We are particularly interested in hearing from people with experience in arts nonprofit organizations, preferably in theatre, as well as those with expertise in accounting or finance.

Having celebrated our 20th edition, we are now working towards our 21st! We are looking for engaged board members to help guide our next chapter, strengthen our administrative and financial foundation, and support the festival’s continued growth.

Presented in partnership with PARC Company Member RCA Theatre, as part of their RCAT Professional Development Series, this workshop is led by award-winning playwright and dramaturge and PARC's AD Santiago Guzmán. Santiago will work with you to further develop your new play by asking dramaturgical questions and offering prompts to unlock new storytelling possibilities. You don't need a completed script to participate—an idea, a few pages, or a couple of scenes will work. The workshop will focus on process and exploration, not a finished product.

Only 8 spots are available. $50 or free for PARC and/or RCA members.

Canadian Independent Music Association - CIMA will be returning to The Great Escape in Brighton, UK from May 12-15, 2027! They will be hosting Canada House showcases on site and providing business opportunities for participating Canadian companies.

The Great Escape is the festival for new music, showcasing 500+ emerging artists from all over the world in 30+ walkable venues across the city. Music industry professionals from across the globe descend on The Great Escape to discover new music and attend the conference run alongside the showcasing component which features panels, keynote speeches, networking opportunities and more.

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS | INDIGENOUS MAKERS FROM ATLANTIC CANADA

Are you ready to explore new markets and grow your craft business?

Craft Alliance Atlantic Association, in partnership with Mawi’ Art Wabanaki Collective, is seeking six Indigenous makers from Atlantic Canada to participate in the Aqsarniit Trade Show & Conference 2027, taking place February 10–13, 2027, in Ottawa, Ontario.

Supported by the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA), this project aims to create new market opportunities for Indigenous makers from New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador.

Through this initiative, selected makers will have the opportunity to:

Connect with retailers, galleries, buyers, and purchasing professionals.

Explore wholesale opportunities and expand their markets beyond Atlantic Canada.

Build relationships with Northern Indigenous makers, businesses, and communities.

Participate in pre-show training focused on wholesale pricing, market readiness, and connecting with buyers.

NEW TO WHOLESALE? YOU CAN STILL APPLY!

You do not need previous wholesale or trade show experience to participate. This project is designed to support Indigenous makers at different stages of their business development, providing practical training and opportunities to explore new markets.
