Newfoundland and Labrador Arts Council The Newfoundland and Labrador Arts Council (ArtsNL) is a non-profit Crown agency created in 1980.

Since 1980, ArtsNL invested approximately $90 million in communities across Newfoundland and Labrador through grants to artists, arts groups, arts organizations, and schools. ArtsNL receives an annual allocation of $5M from the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador.

A respected actor, director, mentor, and advocate, Wendi made a lasting contribution to the arts community through her stage and screen work and her support for her fellow artists.

Our sincere condolences to her family, friends, colleagues, and all the lives Wendi touched. Her talent, generosity, and presence will be missed.
