Southwest Employment Services will be hosting an info session/recruitment event for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) on July 14th from 10:30am to 11:30am at their Shelburne office (25D King Street)!

This presentation is for anyone that has questions about working in the RCMP and will cover topics such as the recruitment process, requirements, expectations for applying, and how to prepare for each stage. This is an in-person event only.

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming Minister Brian Comer from the Office of Addictions and Mental Health and MLA Nick Hilton to the Tri-County Women’s Centre.

We had meaningful conversations about the importance of supporting women, youth, and gender-diverse individuals throughout the Tri-Counties, and the ongoing needs within our communities.

We are incredibly grateful to be a recipient of the Community Wellness Fund and appreciate the investment being made in programs and services that help strengthen the well-being of those we serve.

Thank you, Office of Addictions and Mental Health, for your continued support, for taking the time to visit, and for listening to the voices and experiences of our community. We look forward to continuing this important work together.

Hier, nous avons eu le plaisir d'accueillir le ministre Brian Comer du Bureau des toxicomanies et de la santé mentale et le député Nick Hilton au Centre des femmes des trois comtés.

Nous avons eu des échanges enrichissants sur l'importance de soutenir les femmes, les jeunes et les personnes de diverses identités de genre dans l'ensemble des trois comtés, ainsi que sur les besoins persistants de nos communautés.
