It’s been a bit since my last update! I’ve certainly had a full summer already. Alongside the regular hustle and bustle that comes with summer, I’ve been dealing with some health-related issues, so I’ve been trying to take things a little easier. On top of that, my carpal tunnel has been bothering more than normal, so I’ve been trying to give my wrists (and the rest of my body) some time to rest.🤍

Between focusing on my health, the beginning stages of wedding planning, crocheting when I am able for friends’ baby showers and newborns, and soaking up the busy summer season, life has been keeping me on my toes extra this last little bit.🫶🏽

That being said, my nominations are still open! As mentioned in my last post, turnaround times may be a little longer than usual, but I’m still accepting nominations and working through each one as quickly as I can. I’ve also been working on some new, cute items to add to the list, so keep your eyes open throughout the rest of the summer!

Hi everyone! 🤍

It’s been a minute since I’ve put an update on here. Life has been keeping me busy lately! Between working, doing some small home reno’s, and recently getting engaged, things have been a little hectic🫯

I just wanted to say thank you so much to everyone who continues to support. Whether you’ve donated, shared posts, nominated someone, or simply followed along, it means the world to me.

With summer coming up and life getting a bit busier, after the 3 nominations I am currently working on, I will be slowing down a little on taking nominations. My nomination form will still stay up, and I’ll continue working through every nomination as quickly as I possibly can. The turnaround time will just be a tiny bit longer😌

As talked about in my last few posts, in the comments I have attached the Google Form for the Pay It Forward free gift nominations, where you can nominate anyone from the public - friends, family, coworkers, or anyone you think deserves a little kindness, to receive a free handmade gift of your choice.

Thank you again to everyone who supports this page, donates, and helps me spread kindness through crochet. Because of you, I’ve been able to give back to more people than I ever imagined possible🧶🤍

Thank you all for the feedback on the idea of adding a “pay it forward” / nomination option 🤍 I appreciate it more than you know!
I’m going to take this week to work out more details and see how I can bring it all together.

Thank you to everyone who continues to nominate, it’s something I genuinely love doing.
Also an extra special thank you to those who have donated and continue to support this, it truly wouldn’t be possible without you 🤍

Had some sitting time at work, finishing up some items for nominees and I began thinking about starting something a little different… 🤍

What would you think about a “pay it forward” option where you can nominate someone in your life for a small surprise gift? This would be in addition to Crochet It Forward, not replacing it.

Someone who needs a pick-me-up, someone who deserves a little extra recognition, or just someone you think deserves something special 💌

I’d include cozy/self-care items like:
• Scrunchie set
• Makeup scrubbies set
• Dishcloth set
• Sleep mask
• Coffee sleeve
• Coaster set
and a personalized card (if there’s enough interest, I would eventually add more items)

I’d keep my regular Crochet It Forward nomination form, and add a second/separate one just for nominations for the new project.
Nothing is finalized yet, I just want to see if there’s interest before I build it out 👀

Hi everyone! I’ve been a bit busy lately working on some personal orders and projects, including this beautiful Easter throw blanket that’s currently up for sale (sold)🐣 If anyone is interested just send me a message here! (The blue is sparkly glitter yarn and sooo beautiful.)

As for Crochet It Forward, I’m down to just ONE nomination left to finish from the list since starting this project! 🥹 Thank you all so much for the nominations so far, please keep bringing them in. I love reading your stories and being able to make something special for families who deserve it.
I’m also happy to share that I’ll now be making items for babies aged 0–6 months as part of Crochet It Forward 💛

Did you know that when you nominate a family/parent, you can choose up to 4 colours for their free gift? 🤍
Although colours aren’t always 100% guaranteed, I will always do my absolute best to find what you want and make your vision come to life for your nomination.

I absolutely love seeing how thoughtful everyone has been with the colour choices, it makes these projects even more special🥹
