Shelburne Longboat Society The Shelburne Longboat Society was created to carry on the legacy of the Loyalist Landing 2008 celebrations.

The Society was incorporated under the Nova Scotia Registry of Joint Stock Companies on 7th August, 2008 as a non-profit volunteer organization.

The Bill Cox, our newly named longboat, was christened on September 5th at the Yacht Club in Town Shelburne. We were honored to have Bill's family members present, along with Sheila Firth, who officiated the blessing.
