Sometimes the right opportunity starts with simply saying yes.

Elli first came to Streams through a co-op placement arranged by her teacher. What started as a school opportunity quickly became something she genuinely loved.

She enjoyed the people, the environment, and the work so much that she was ready to apply for a summer position after her placement ended. But before she even had the chance… Streams reached out to her - and she has been a great asset to the Streams team ever since!

Sometimes a co-op placement isn’t just work experience. Sometimes it’s the beginning of something new.

🎭 THROWBACK THURSDAY! 🎭

Last Friday, our Centre Stage crew absolutely knocked it out of the park with their performance of Junie B. Jones! 👏✨ It was a total hit — full of laughs, big personalities, and some seriously amazing performances!

But of course… our hilarious coworker Jahmeil couldn’t let our leading ladies have ALL the fun! 😂🎭

When there’s a stage, you’ve got to make an entrance, right?! 😉

We’re still smiling thinking about this amazing show and all the hard work our campers put into bringing Junie B. Jones to life. ❤️

✨ MEET MS. LORI! ✨

We’re so lucky to have Ms. Lori as part of the Streams Hub team! 💚

Lori’s journey to Streams began with a background in Montessori education and a passion for working with youth. After years in a more traditional environment, she was looking for a little more flexibility, creativity, and freedom to make learning fun — and Streams Hub was the perfect fit! 🎨📚

Lori has been part of our team for a few years now, and we’re so grateful for the warmth, creativity, and care she brings to every learning experience. 🌱

This summer, Lori is leading our Kinder Prep program, helping our youngest learners build confidence and get ready for their next big adventure in learning! 🧸✏️

And she’s not going anywhere! 👏 This fall, Lori will be back teaching Literacy and Math, along with offering limited 1-on-1 tutoring opportunities on Saturdays.
