We’ve extended the submission deadline to Sunday, October 25 to give more youth the opportunity to participate.

🎭 Here’s how to enter:
1️⃣ Choose your monologue.
2️⃣ Upload your video submission.
3️⃣ Let us take it from there!

🏆 Prizes: $1,000 for first place and $500 for second place in each age category!

Fan Favourite voting and judging will follow shortly after submissions close. Competition date: Nov 14

For six years, the Word of Mouth Monologue Competition has given youth ages 8–17 the opportunity to step into the spotlight, bring powerful monologues to life, and experience the magic of being heard.

Public speaking. Creative expression. Thinking on your feet. Finding confidence in front of an audience. These are skills that reach far beyond the stage, and sometimes all it takes is one opportunity to change how a young person sees themselves.
