Since 1922, Shriner’s Hospitals for children have served children in North America.

"As Shriners, we look beyond ourselves to serve the needs of others, especially children who cannot help themselves."*
The majority of our time is dedicated to the support of the Shriners Hospitals. These hospitals provide outstanding care for children who have orthopaedic problems or have been severely burned. Both in-patient and out-patient care is given to children from infancy to their 18th birthday at no cost to the patient or family regardless of race, religion, or relationship to a Shriner. The Shrine Hospital network currently includes 22 hospitals – 10 orthopaedic units and three burn institutes. In addition to patient care, these hospitals are actively engaged in teaching and research programs in order to expand the benefits of the Shrine Hospital system. Shriner’s Hospitals for Children are now a member of the Mayo Clinic Network, a national network of organizations committed to better serving patients and their families through physical collaboration. The network will allow Shriner’s Hospitals to offer providers and patients convenient access to additional expertise from the Mayo Clinic. There are currently eight children in this area being sponsored by the Ramoca Shrine Club in Owen Sound for treatment at the Shriner’s Hospital in Montreal. The recently opened new hospital is attached to McGill University. The Potentate/CEO and Executive in Toronto and other jurisdictions are volunteers and do not receive a salary. Shriner’s Hospitals are supported by donations and sale of Christmas cakes, Lottery Tickets and other fund raising activities.

This is a true win-win. There are 11 draws every week, and every winner goes straight back into the drum for another chance to win. Your ticket stays in play all year.

Each week, highest to lowest:
• 1 draw of $1,000
• 1 draw of $500
• 4 draws of $250
• 5 draws of $100
Plus one Spectacular draw of $40,000 cash on December 31, 2027.

Draws start Thursday, January 7, 2027, at 11:00 a.m. at Rameses Shriners.
Proceeds support the Rameses Shriners Children’s Transportation Fund, which helps Shriners patients get to and from the hospital.
A $104 ticket works out to about $2 a week. You’re supporting the kids and giving yourself a shot at weekly cash prizes, plus that $40,000 grand prize.

Founded on September 26, 1872, Shriners International has spent nearly a century and a half bringing fellowship, purpose, and joy to brothers around the globe. What began as a fun and fraternal idea by Walter M. Fleming, M.D. and William J. "Billy" Florence in New York City has grown into a powerful worldwide brotherhood.

For 154 years, Shriners have been dedicated to making the world a better place, strengthening bonds of friendship while fueling a life-changing philanthropic mission through Shriners Children's.
