👀 SNEAK PEEK: Our new report, "Impact of Brain Injury on Personal Relationships: Perspectives and Experiences," is dropping tomorrow — and the findings on friendships are eye-opening.

We asked individuals living with the effects of brain injury: did you lose friends after your injury?

✅ 70% said no — their friendships stayed intact ⚠️ 22% said they lost some friends 💔 8% said they lost friends entirely

The Impact of Brain Injury on Personal Relationships: Experiences and Perspectives Report

Our upcoming report explores how brain injury can affect romantic relationships, with findings from our Relationships & Brain Injury Study through the Brain Injury Speaks Network.

Participants shared the challenges of trying to maintain romantic relationships while also managing the realities of life after brain injury. For some, this meant finding a balance between self-care and managing symptoms while still making time and space for their partner and relationship.

Brain injury can affect energy, communication, emotions, routines and so much more, creating new challenges for couples to navigate together.
