Name: Penny
S*x: Female
Age: 9 weeks (September 26, 2026)
Foster: Nikole
Photo taken: September 25, 2026
Description: Penny is an 8-week-old little girl who was found all by herself on a farm property. She’s now safe and sound in foster care, where she has another foster kitten for company. There’s just one problem... her roommate isn’t interested in making friends.
Penny, on the other hand, is very much ready for a buddy! She’s still a little on the shy side, but she’s friendly and we think having another cat or dog to play with and learn from would help her settle in beautifully.
Penny will be adopted with another kitten or into a home with a suitable pet who would enjoy having a feline friend. We’d love to see her have a buddy to grow up with.
If Penny sounds like the little girl for you, send us a DM! 🐱

We are needing a new foster home or adoptive home for Butters ASAP. This girl is very sweet and quickly developed a relationship with her foster family. Unfortunately, we knew from the beginning that this was not a long-term foster situation for her and we're looking for another home for Butters. Please message us for information on fostering or adopting this lovely young girl!

This young calico girl started out as a farm drop-off, but she quickly made it clear that she had absolutely no interest in living the barn-cat lifestyle.

Butters was friendly with homeowner Ashley, so she brought her in to get spayed and has been fostering her. And now? Butters is discovering that house cat life is pretty fantastic.

Butters is super affectionate and loves being around people. She took to the litter box like a pro, and she’s really coming into her playful side, spending more and more time batting around toys with her foster or entertaining herself.

She also appears to be perfectly comfortable with the sounds of dogs. She hasn’t had a proper dog introduction yet, but she has been dog-adjacent and has calmly hung out in the room while the resident dog barked.

Basically, Butters has sampled farm life and house-cat life and has cast her vote. House cat wins! Now she’s looking for either a foster home or, ideally, a permanent home where she can continue enjoying the good life. If Butters sounds like your kind of cat, send us a message!

Name: Eve
S*x: Spayed Female
Age: young adult
Foster: Nikole
Photo taken: September 2026
Description: Meet Eve, a beautiful and gentle young adult cat looking for a patient home where she can truly blossom. With her stunning, seasonal coat that shifts through shades of beige, grey, cream, and peach, she is lovely and unique.

Eve is a shy girl who will need a little extra time and patience to feel secure in her surroundings, however, once she feels safe, her true personality shines through. She is an incredibly affectionate and loving companion who will reward your kindness with all the love she has to give.

When she’s feeling comfortable, you’ll be treated to her sweet little meows and chirps. She absolutely adores head scratches and will lean into your hand once she trusts you. Beyond her gentle side, Eve is a playful young lady who enjoys staying active. She is also very clean and well-mannered.

If you are looking for a loyal friend and have the patience to let a shy cat earn your trust, Eve is the perfect addition to your life. She is spayed and ready to find her forever home. DM us for more info!

Please support Caregivers of Petrolia Ferals with their fundraising auction!

🐾💙 WE NEED YOUR HELP! 💙🐾

Our rescue work takes us all over Lambton County, and right now, one of our biggest needs is TRAPS!

We desperately need to purchase a second drop trap as well as more live traps. We are constantly shuffling traps between different locations and trappers, trying to keep up with the cats who need our help. Having more traps available would make a HUGE difference in how quickly we can respond when a cat needs to be trapped. 🐱

That’s where our online auction comes in! ❤️

We are asking our amazing supporters and local businesses to consider donating an item, service, gift certificate, or experience for our upcoming auction. Every dollar raised will go toward helping us purchase the trapping equipment we so desperately need as well as the medical expenses for those cats.

🎁 We are looking for:
• New items
• Gift certificates or services
• Experiences
• Local business donations
• Very gently used, higher-value items that someone would be excited to bid on

If you have something you’d like to donate, please drop off to 1255 Giffel Rd, text 226-349-4650, or reach out through our website.

Thank you for continuing to support Caregivers of Petrolia Ferals and the cats who need us. ❤️🐾

Name: Jett
S*x: Spayed Female
Age: 10 months (born November 7, 2025)
Foster: Sara
Photo taken: summer 2026
Jett is a gorgeous older kitten with plenty of playful energy. She is a sweet and affectionate girl. Sadly, Jett is being returned to Cat Chance because she is not getting along with her cat roomie. She’s a dominant girl and would do great along in a home as the queen of the castle.

Jett loves chasing spring toys, showing off her silly kitten antics, and then settling in for some love. She is a big fan of belly rubs and curling up next to you on the couch. She also likes to supervise dinner preparations from her favorite bowl on the countertop. Not sure if she’s more supervisor or assistant, but she is consistent!

Jett is ready to find that special someone to call her own forever. She has been vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped and is ready to share her love!

Jett’s owners will also share the cat tree that Jett has called her own, plus a cat tunnel and her favourite cat toy. Please DM us for more information!
