Red Carpet Ready - A Rebound Community Project Red Carpet Ready at Rebound collects new and lightly used formal wear and provide them free of charge to area school students.

Our team distributes the formal wear during our scheduled Pop-Up Shop which occurs the 2nd weekend in March each year.

🌿✨ Celebrating Creativity, Community, and Culture ✨🌿

At Rebound, our walls tell stories; stories of resilience, imagination, and the voices of young people shaping their world. One artist whose work has transformed our space is Kennady at Seventh Rayn Design Co., a talented Indigenous creator who has created six incredible murals, including a youth-led piece completed via The Art House on London-Sarnia.

Kennady’s murals bring walls to life with bold color, energy, and imagination, filling our space with creativity and joy.

Lately, folks around the city have been posting photos of Kennady’s artwork in their own spaces, showing off the pieces that inspire them, and showing their support; and we couldn’t resist joining in, sharing our favourites right here at Rebound! Take a peek at our collection, it's fantastic.

OMG—what an incredible weekend! ✨ Our 2026 Red Carpet Ready event was an absolute success, with 172 youth finding outfits that help them feel confident, celebrated, and ready for their big moments.

This event truly is a community effort in every sense of the word, and we are so grateful for the partners who stepped up in such meaningful ways. A heartfelt thank you to the Dante Club Sarnia for generously opening your doors and creating a welcoming space, Capes Movers for donating your time and muscle to move what feels like a mountain of gowns and suits, NOVA Chemicals for rolling up your sleeves and helping bring the space to life, Ravell Insurance Inc. and Ravell Insurance in the Grove for serving as a collection hub and helping us gather so many incredible pieces, Sarnia-Lambton Children's Aid Society for safely storing our inventory, our friends at the former SCITS building for becoming the new home for our collection, and Joy's Bridal Boutique for their ongoing generosity in donating beautiful dresses to us each and every year. Every single role—big or small—kept this event moving, and it’s a perfect example of what happens when a community comes together with a shared purpose.

But most importantly—our volunteers. 💛 You are the heart of this event. From sorting and steaming, to styling and cheering on every single youth who walked through the doors, you showed up with kindness, care, and so much heart. You created a space where everyone felt welcome, seen, and special. This weekend simply would not exist without you, and we are so incredibly grateful for each and every one of you.

And to our wider community—thank you for the donations, the encouragement, and the belief in what this event stands for. It truly takes all of us to make something like this happen, and together, we created something pretty special. ✨

Red Carpet Ready Needs Dress Shoes!

We are currently very low on men’s and teen boys’ dress shoes for our Red Carpet Ready Pop-Up Shop, and the need is urgent.
Prom. Grad. Big first impressions.
Right now, we don’t have enough dress shoes to meet the need.
If you have gently used (or new!) men’s/teen male dress shoes tucked in a closet, we’d love to give them a second walk into something meaningful.

👞 Dress shoes only (sizes 7–13 especially needed!)

Red Carpet Ready is a true testament to the power of community, and its success would not be possible without the unwavering support of Sarnia-Lambton. Year after year, you show up, and this year was no exception!

We want to extend our deepest gratitude to the incredible local businesses that helped make this year’s initiative a success: Two Water Brewing Co., Capes Movers Ltd., Dante Club Sarnia , Joy's Bridal Boutique, Ravell Insurance Inc., Ravell Insurance in the Grove, Black Gold Brewery, Sarnia-Lambton Children's Aid Society, and NOVA Chemicals. Your generosity and commitment to our cause mean the world to us!

A heartfelt thank you also goes out to the amazing individuals of Sarnia-Lambton and beyond who came together to donate over 1,000 new items to our inventory. Your kindness and community spirit continue to make a real difference in the lives of local youth, ensuring they feel confident and celebrated on their special night.

Thank you so much to NOVA Chemicals !! 15 volunteers joined us on Wednesday to help us set up for our annual Pop-Up Shop and we are beyond grateful for all of their help. We are so thankful for such a supportive community. Without all the help from all of you this project would not be possible!
