PALS - Partners Assisting Local Schools

It was a beautiful day on the rails! Thanks to New Brunswick Southern Railway, grade four PALS students enjoyed train rides. We cross our fingers for beautiful fall weather for the remaining three rides with students from 10 schools.

Companies and volunteers create unique experiences for students. Contact us if you have creative ideas that contribute to educational and memorable student experiences.

The weather was perfect for the first St. John the Baptist School PALS In the Park adventure. Those smiling faces say it all!

Kicking off another great year of PALS In the Park. Students learn new skills while exploring nature thanks to community partnerships.

Thanks to dedicated volunteers who mentor children and youth. The opportunities to mentor groups and one-on-one students are varied and available with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Saint John.

Every young person deserves someone who believes in them.

A mentor can be the encouraging voice, trusted friend, and positive role model that helps a young person reach their potential.

Together, we're creating brighter futures through mentorship.

A heartfelt thank you to United Way Maritimes & J.D. Irving, Limited for making this work possible.

Glen Falls students explored the Saint John Harbour through an NBCC partnership.

Thanks to Matt from Envision Saint John, Nicola from Port Saint John, and the Atlantic Towing team for a local lesson on aquatics and tides at the Tidal Steps, a walk through the Area 506, followed by a water display.

Community partners making a difference!

Best of luck and adventures to the winners competing in Ohio.

Good Luck to Violet Carr, 9, and Seth Burley, 10, who are competing this week at the All American Soap Box Derby in Akron, Ohio.
