🧡 What an incredible day. 🧡

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and spent National Day for Truth and Reconciliation with us. Seeing so many Elders, youth, families, and community members together made the day something really special.

A special shoutout to Listuguj Mi'gmaq Government, Listuguj Health & Community Services, Heritage Canada, Listuguj Social Services, and Sacred Bundles Healing and Counselling Inc. for coming together with us to make this day happen. So many people put their time, energy, and heart into everything from the activities and food to the decorations and all the little things behind the scenes.

We would also like to acknowledge and thank all the IRS survivors & Elders for coming to the event and sharing this important day with us. A heartfelt thank you as well to the Chiefs of both Eel River Bar and Listuguj for coming out and showing their support.

Most of all, thank you to the community for showing up, sharing, learning, laughing, and spending the day together. 🧡

Every Child Matters — today and every day.

Wela’lin. 🧡
