It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Pat Kennedy, who died peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, July 19, 2026.
Pat was a deeply respected member of BC’s aviation and aerospace community. A former Chair of the Air Transport Association of Canada (ATAC) and the Certified Management Accountants of BC, she also served as a Director and Treasurer of the BC Aviation Council.
For more than 30 years, Pat served as CFO of Pacific Flying Club. She was appointed to the CATSA Board by the federal government in 2015 and was a FCPA and FCMA.
Pat was also a past recipient of the BCAC Robert S. Day Trophy for her outstanding contribution to BC aviation.
Even in June, Pat was fully engaged in the BCAC Scholarship Committee’s evaluation of applications, providing her usual insightful observations as the committee awarded more than $250,000 to aviation and aerospace students.
Pat’s contributions, wisdom, and commitment to our industry have left a lasting legacy.
