Sometimes, a little help can make a big difference in keeping a pet safe, cared for, and right where they belong - at home with their family.

On September 14th, as part of the Regina Humane Society’s Pet Connection Outreach Program, we’re heading to the Al Ritchie Community Centre for a community microchip clinic!

đź“… Monday, September 14, 2026
⏰ 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. (or as supplies last)
📍 Al Ritchie Community Centre

Community members can have their pet microchipped at no cost, helping improve the chances of a safe return home if they ever become lost. This clinic is intended to help pet owners who may not otherwise be able to access microchipping services. We’ll also be distributing pet food and supplies to those in need of it.

On August 17, CBC Saskatchewan’s Blue Sky explored current trends in charitable giving and what they mean for organizations that rely on donor support to continue their work.

During the conversation, our very own Jonah Toth highlighted our annual Friendraiser event and spoke about the importance of collaboration across Saskatchewan’s charitable sector. The discussion also explored the many ways people can give back to the communities they care about.

Whether it’s through a donation, volunteering your time, sharing your skills, or helping spread the word, every act of generosity can help strengthen our communities.

We’re grateful to see conversations like these bring attention to the important work happening across Saskatchewan’s charitable sector.

Hey Regina, we need your help!

Our shelves are running dangerously low. With a recent surge in local families and individuals needing emergency support, our supplies have been depleted. While we’ve purchased emergency stock to get by, we urgently need community donations to keep up with the demand.

If you are in a position to donate, our most needed items right now are:

Canned meat & fish
Pasta & pasta sauce
Kraft Dinner
Baked beans
Rice
Cereal
1L Juice

Every single item helps us feed a neighbor in need. Drop-offs can be made at 2240 13th Ave. Thank you for supporting your community! ❤️
