Advisory: Drug alert for Regina and area.

The Regina Police Service is sharing this drug/risk-of-overdose alert on behalf of the Saskatchewan Ministry of Health.

Regina Overdose Outreach Team and Regina Fire and Protective Services report 100 overdoses between June 1-10, 2026, with as many as 22 overdoses reported on June 5th, and 17 on June 7th. At least two suspected overdose-related deaths have occurred during this period. These fatalities indicate a higher risk of overdose and death from drugs in the Regina area.

Naloxone will counter the effects of opioids, but not other substances like benzodiazepines. Multiple doses of naloxone may be required.
