Yesterday, we learned that we lost our beloved friend, Chance.
Chance was a friend, an ally, an advocate for a better way, and a source of support for so many in our community. His loss is felt deeply by all who knew and loved him.
We’ve been thinking a lot about his name. About the chances he took with courage and determination. About how he wanted the world to take a chance on him, his ideas, and his ingenuity. And about how much we wish we had one more chance to sit with him, laugh with him, and hear what he was dreaming up next.
The last time we had a good long chat together, we listened to this song on repeat. He liked it. Today, it feels like a small way to remember him.
Rest easy, Chance. You are loved.
