Thank you to everyone who attended, donated, sponsored, volunteered, and supported from near and far — together, we raised over $6,000 for Hearth’s Place Cancer Support Centre.

Hearth’s Place is vital resource for individuals and families living with cancer, offering individual counselling, emotional support groups, wellness programs, caregiver and grief support, as well as specialized children’s programming for children living with cancer.

A special thank you to Debbie Dawson from Hearth’s Place for sharing such meaningful words and reminding us of why this cause matters so deeply.

This special event also landed on what would’ve been my mom’s 62nd birthday. Just seeing everyone there, sparkling for my mom, was so meaningful. Thank you again✨

Join us for A Night of Hope, a heartfelt and elegant evening in support of Hearth’s Place Cancer Support Centre and dedicated to raising funds, honouring lives, and fostering community support and connection.

This independently organized, not-for-profit event will bring guests together at the Cobourg Yacht Club on November 28, 2025; with all proceeds directly benefiting Hearth’s Place Cancer Support Centre.

Since 1997, Hearth’s Place has been a vital resource for individuals and families facing cancer and cancer diagnoses; offering emotional support, wellness programs, grief counseling, and services for families and children.

This special night is held in loving memory of Dianne Plaskon—an
extraordinary woman whose kindness, strength, and generosity impacted all who knew her. Coinciding with what would have been her 62nd birthday, the event will not only raise essential funds, but also celebrate Dianne’s life and the meaningful legacy she left behind.

Together, let’s build a stronger community through compassion, support, and shared purpose.

We can’t wait to see you there! ✨
