Alasdair and Jane stopped by to pick up their Terry Fox t-shirts and wanted to remind everyone that you can also use wheels on the Cobourg route. We start at the Lion’s/Lioness pavilion in Victoria Park anytime between 8 am and noon!
Fun fact: Alasdair and Jane are two of Cobourg’s most successful fundraisers for the Terry Fox Foundation having raised over $7000 already this year #!!💪🚴🏻

September 20th is the Terry Fox Run, and Cobourg has one right here in Victoria Park.

This year, I'm running in honour of my husband Damien, a three-time survivor of Hodgkin lymphoma.

Terry Fox started his Marathon of Hope in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, where he dipped his toe in the Atlantic Ocean before heading west. When we show up each year for this national fundraiser, we keep that movement going. We keep the Marathon of Hope going.

A huge thank you to Jen Lynch and her volunteer team for organizing the Cobourg run again this year. Events like this don't happen without people who care.

Join us this Sunday morning in Victoria Park as we come together to honour Terry Fox and raise much-needed funds for cancer research. Registration begins at 8:00am at the Lions-Lioness Pavilion in Victoria Park.
