Led by Community Care Northumberland, Ed’s House Northumberland Hospice Care Centre is a hospice hub in Hamilton Township, ON that offers resident care, caregiver support, health system navigation, palliative support and grief and bereavement support.

We are so grateful to the Port Hope Legion. This past Friday we accepted a generous $10,000 presented by President Elaine Adams, and Vice President Dave Boerrichter, as the legion thought of us during their end-of-year donations.

The Port Hope Legion has been an avid supporter of both Ed's House and CCN over the years. We are honoured to be one of the organizations they continue to support in the community.

Witches are among us! And they dropped off $202 at Ed's House!

Together, we raised $72, 840 for Ed’s House Hospice!

Thank you to everyone who hiked, biked, and barked with us at Hike, Bike and Bark 2026. Your generosity will help ensure compassionate hospice care is there for families in Northumberland when they need it most.

Thank you for a wonderful night in Colborne!
**$1,400 Raised**

On Saturday, September 12, the community came together at The Royal Crown Pub & Grill in Colborne for an evening of live music, karaoke, great food and a silent auction, all in support of Ed's House.

Together, they raised $1,400 for hospice care in our community.

A big thank you to organizers Suzanne and Andrew Gallant, and to Mayur Mayya, owner of The Royal Crown Pub & Grill, for co-hosting, providing the venue, and sharing his team of bartenders and cooks for the night.

Thank you as well to Dayz Gone, At The Ready and DJ Mary, who all donated their time and talent to make the evening a success.

And to everyone who attended, donated, bid in the silent auction, volunteered or helped spread the word: thank you. Your kindness helps families in Northumberland when they need it most.

World Hospice Palliative Care Day💕

Today, we recognize and raise awareness of the importance for individuals living with serious illness to receive compassionate care, honoring dignity and respect.

At Ed’s House Northumberland Hospice Care Centre, this day is important to us. We are honored to walk alongside our clients, their families and caregivers in their journey, providing compassionate care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Together we can continue to raise awareness, and ensure that every individual has access to the care that they deserve.

National Children's Hospice Palliative Care Day💗

Today is dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of children's hospice and palliative care services. Access to care is essential for improving the quality of living and dying for children living with serious illnesses.

Together, continuing to raise awareness can ensure that every child and their family has access to compassionate care, and the supports necessary, so no one walks alone.

Thank you, Wayne Moore Memorial Golf Tournament!

**$2,540 Raised!**

For nine years, a group of 50 to 60 friends and family have come together at Shelter Valley Pines Golf Club for a fun day of golf in support of local charities and causes. For the past two years, they have chosen the Ed's House Foundation as their charity of choice.

This year, this incredible group raised $2,540 for hospice care in our community.
A special thank you to Neva Moore and everyone who took part, and to Chris Barlow and the team at Diemo along with Steve Chappell Construction for being core supporters of this wonderful fundraiser.

Thank you to everyone who made the day such a success. Your kindness helps families in Northumberland when they need it most.
