Our HER Power: Engaging Men As Allies campaign has launched🎉

We are excited to share this video with male leaders who are taking the responsibility to collaborate as allies to advance safer workplaces and promote gender equality issues so that women with disabilities can advance into leadership positions.

WMRCC is grounded in Anti-Racist, Anti-Oppression (ARAO), Gender-Based Analysis Plus (GBA+) and intersectional frameworks which informs our collective approach in advancing economic opportunities for women in the workplace.

For the full campaign video and to learn more about upcoming community dialogues and consultations on the campaign, please check our website or contact HER Power-Project Lead, Nyarai for more information.

✨At WMRCC, our mentors are passionate about helping you take your next step into greatness.

Here’s what one of our mentors had to say about her experience with our HER Power Mentorship Hub:
“My experience mentoring with the HER Power Mentorship Hub was truly incredible. I didn’t expect to make such a meaningful impact on two individuals in the community, and it reminded me why I am so passionate about supporting the disability community. Opportunities like this matter—representation matters—and being able to serve as a role model is something I deeply value. I’m grateful for the chance to contribute and continue making a positive difference through WMRCC’s mentorship program.”

✨This June, WMRCC celebrates National Indigenous History Month.

As an organization dedicated to equity and trauma informed care counselling support, we recognize that our journey toward a just society must center Indigenous voices.

Reconciliation means acknowledging systemic harms and actively working to dismantle them.

This month, we invite our community to listen deeply, celebrate Indigenous achievements, and commit to the lifelong work of allyship.
