Just to clarify, 2 lettuce leaves floating in a bowl of water is not an appropriate donation! And to reiterate, we can't take food that has been opened or partially consumed. Elks Penticton Lodge 51

We've been getting a ton of soup and sandwiches made by Dawn and her amazing crew at the Elks Club. Thank you Dawn and all the helpers! Elks Penticton Lodge 51

In this very difficult time, the Penticton Farmers Market farmers still manage to be out there doing the amazing job they do and very generously donating extra produce to us! Give a kind thought to both those who may have lost their farms and to those who are out there doing the job of supplying us with fresh produce while dealing with smoke and grinding heat. Getting a little help at the Pantry today, visiting grandsons helping out, here's Vincent power washing the sidewalk which we have to do several times a week! Also, for a bit of needed humour, a donated zucchini has got some personality! Elks Penticton Lodge 51
