At a time when antisemitism can leave many feeling isolated, events like this remind us of the importance of creating spaces where we can proudly be Jewish, celebrate our identity and welcome our neighbours and allies.

These findings remind us that Jewish students need spaces where they feel supported, connected, and proud of their identity.

Through Hillel Ottawa, a program of the Jewish Federation of Ottawa, we are proud to help create those spaces — welcoming students through Shabbat dinners, learning opportunities, leadership programs, Israel engagement, and meaningful community connections.
