When Amba, Corzo and Lago were at the finca Charlotte told them bed time stories. We have tried to keep up this tradition and last night I told Amba the story of Santa's Elves. Twelve years ago a lone elf sat in Canada thinking of the galgos who were spending Christmas at the finca waiting for their families to find them. They were all safe and warm and loved but this elf thought how could she make Christmas even a little more special for them. So off she went and got toys and treats for each of the galgos at the finca. She lovingly wrapped each individual gift with the galgo's names and asked Santa to stop by and take them on his way to Spain and drop them at the finca.
The next year this elf thought why should she have all the fun when there were elves worldwide just looking to spread Christmas love and cheer so she decided to recruit even more elves and the Santa Elves Event was started and has continued each year since.
In the coming weeks we will run this very important event so we can purchase toys and treats and essentials for the galgos at the finca. We will make sure they are delivered well in time to Santa for when he passes over the finca to distribute to all the galgos. For some this will be the first Christmas they have ever known for others who have already celebrated Christmas at the finca they will spread the news about this magical jolly red soul who will come just for them! Amba said she knows how important it is to involve the youth of today so in true Amba fashion she has taken over and will run the event on behalf of all her finca friends. She has to reorient her sparkle wand for a bit for elf duties but as soon as she has that figured out we will get this event started so stay tuned!

Giving Tuesday is less than a week away! 🩷🩷🩷

For those who are not familiar with Giving Tuesday, it is a global movement that started as a reaction to the enormous amount of spending that happens on Black Friday.

Black Friday is so named because it is the first day of the year when many businesses finally see a profit or are "in the black".

The reality for charities and non-profits is *they are never in the black*. We need to think of supporting them just as much as folks think of Walmart and Costco this time of year.

Here are the guidelines for our auction.
The auctions starts on November 16, 2025 at 4pm EST and closes on November 23, 2025 at 4pm EST.
Highest bid at close of auction wins
We have set a minimum bid of $5 CAD for every item.
Bids can be in any increment but must be in dollars, not cents.
All bids are final.
Please read image details and written descriptions carefully before you bid!
If an item comes with shipping included, that means shipping included in-Canada only. Shipping outside of Canada can be negotiated.
Some items are location-specific, so please read descriptions!
When the auction closes, winners will be notified and items will be released once payment is confirmed.
Payment can be made via e-transfer (preferred) or PayPal (not preferred because they take fees)
All items are as seen in the photos. If you need more information, please ask questions prior to bidding.
